I just stumbled upon a forum website for sale at sedo. I can see that the forum has more than 1 million posts, which is pretty much, and according to the sedo tracker there is ~40,000 monthly uniques doing ~400,000 pageviews.
So when I see that it is for sale for only $2,500 I almost can’t believe it. Shouldn’t it be worth more? In generel I believe it should, but I really can’t judge this, since I don’t understand turkish.

I just spotted a webmaster & domain name forum for sale at NamePros. The forum itself seems pretty dead, but according to the statistics provided by the seller, there is a decent amount of traffic.
The forum is RealDN and it has a pagerank 4. In this month there has been around 13,000 uniques who did ~54,000 pageviews.
The seller wants the bidding to start of at $500, but he has a reserve, and mentions that the right offer will buy immediately. The auction will be for 7 days and seller will post a BIN in a couple of days.
This forum could be a good start to create a community, but remember that there is plenty of webmaster and domain forums already.
There are two things to notice. 1. Theres was a huge drop in traffic in November and December according to the stats. 2. There is a lot of links in the bottom, so the link popularity might be obtained through such link exchanges.

SaveGaelic.org is for sale at Sedo.
SaveGaelic.org is dedicated to the Scottish Gaelic language. It features one of if not the most popular forums related to Scottish Gaelic on the internet today.
The forum seems to be pretty active with almost all of the forums having activity within the last week. Most of the forums has got activity within the last couple of hours, so it does seem like a good community.
According to the Sedo tracker there is around 330 unique visitors a day, and they look at ~9 pages in average. So that is almost 100,000 pageviews in a month.

There is a domain name community for sale at Ebay. It is the forum dncommunity.com that is up for auction.
The current bid is $1,125 and the reserve has been met. The auction ends in 9 days, and there has been serveral bidders, so you should expect the price to become higher - especially in the hours just before the auction ends.
The site has some traffic - according to screenshots there was ~65,000 pageviews and ~6,500 uniques in december 2005. The stats for this month shows the same pattern. The traffic has been increasing since may 2005.
There are some activity in the forums, but it is mostly in the “Domains for Sale” forum. The other forums seems a bit quiet.

Here is an interesting forum which definitely seems great. My.IS (and is300.net) is for sale at SitePoint.
According to Bigboards there should be around 100,000 pageviews a day. But the seller reports that according to Google (Google Analytics, I guess) it is on average 33,000 pageviews a day.
I believe that there is some hidden values in this forum. First of all, I can see that the amount of pages, that Google and Yahoo has indexed, is very much below the actual amount of pages. So I am sure that there is alot of traffic to gain from search engines. These users coming through searches is normally clicking ads more often, so they might be of really good value.
Secondly, I think that since the subject is very specific - Lexus IS-models - it should be possible to obtain higher earnings than what the seller reports.
The starting bid is $25,000, which I believe is a good price. For somebody, with the knowledge needed to improve this forum, there are some decent money to make.
If anybody ends up buying this website, then do link building. The current pagerank is 3, which is very low. Link popularity in this end, can easily be improved, and thereby increase the amount of pages indexed by search engines.
